The Importance of Parents
Our theater company is open to anyone from the ages of 11-22, and so parents play an important role in our company. First of all, we have 4 adult advisors, one of whom is at every meeting or rehearsal. These wonderful people make sure we are doing this well and keep us safe and happy. Then, we have additional parents chaperoning every rehearsal and backstage during the show. Again, because we have younger teens, these parents have to be there and we enjoy watching parents see the show develop. We also have parents who help with set building, prop and costume acquisition, and party planning. While most of the production work is all done by teens, our company would not be complete without the parents who turn their children over to us every summer. THANK YOU, PARENTS!!
A Note From the Director
Hello all!
I was so honored when I was chosen to direct The Pirates of Penzance this summer. I had been involved in a production of it before, and I knew what an awesome show it can be. And now, after only a few vocal rehearsals, I am confident that this show will be spectacular! WTTC is for 11-22 year olds. We have 11 year olds singing opera. And it sounds great! I’m thrilled for the rest of the summer, and can’t wait put on this show!
Inventory Day
Hey there! Teen Theater spent the day sorting and organizing all of our costumes. What a daunting task! But thanks to everyone who helped out, we are so much better organized than we were before. The launch of our completely redesigned website is tomorrow, too! Excitement all around!
Let’s give this a try, shall we?…
Greetings and salutations!
This blog entry won’t have anything interesting in it. Ok, maybe nothing too interesting with a sprinkle of interesting here and there.
I’m generating posts to see how long they take to upload on our website. Well, our test site for our NEW website. It’s looking great, and I can’t wait until we launch! Blast off!
